Anfield Stadium

Anfield Stadium is the home of Liverpool Fc in the English Premier League. I took the bus number 26 from Liverpool One Bus station, near Albert Dock ,to Anfield Stadium about 2 miles. The stadium is on the left has you approach Anfield, can not be missed has it is large. -- I bought a ticket for the stadium tour, £20 for adult and £15 for seniors, family ticket is available.-- The tour is at your own speed and starts at the top of the main stand.-- Visitors are provided with a audio guide.- After going up 6 or 7 escalators, them work your way down by signed route, to the dressing rooms, press conferance room, etc to the pitch side. There is a museum. Refreshments and toilets are available. Guides are around the route to help you and answer questions.-- At one point there is a view of Goodison Park the home of Everton FC, in this city you are red or blue,. The day i was here there were vistors from many parts of the world.-------A bit of history , The original stadium was owned by John Houlding and Everton Fc were his tenants. In 1892 Everton Fc fell out with the landlord and moved out of Anfield. John Houlding them formed Liverool FC at Anfield.--- Some of Liverpool Fc record , won the FA cup 7 times, European cup 5 times, and the UEFA cup 3 times.--- Anfield must be one of the best in the world.DSCN0157
